Surgical Management of Gynecomastia : Liposuction and Subcutaneous Mastectomy

There are multiple options for surgical treatment of gynecomastia including liposuction, subcutaneous mastectomy and combination of both. In this study we observed the outcome of the options of surgical treatment of Simons Grade I and Grade IIA gynecomastia.This is an observational study of 26 patients who underwent surgery for gynecomastia. Surgical management was planned according to grading of gynecomastia, amount of fatty tissue and glandular tissue present in the enlarged breast.
